A. Setting Up Appropriate Equipment

We used a tripod to hold the camera while filming which provided stability and protection to the camera, when the camera was not in use it was kept in a camera bag. To set this up we extended the legs of the tripod to maximum height and positioned the tripod on stable, level ground.
To ensure the camera was ready for use we erased the SD card to provide space for out footage and inserted a fully charged battery, then attached the camera to the tripod.

B. Following Script/Storyboard

Before filming each member of the group produced a script, which we then all read and decided which was the best and the most suitable for filming, we followed the script as close as possible, filming in order of the script.

C. Following Safe Working Practices

Before filming we completed risk assessments and recces and while on location we ensured that we followed both these documents to make sure our safety was the main priority. We also made sure that we were wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.

D. Following Production Processes

My role was 1st AD, I was on set for all shots and ensured that everything was in order, all people and equipment on set was safe and in working. The director was in charge of the shooting with them instructing the actors while the producer paid more attention to the shots once the cinematographer has stopped recording.
